Our story
So this is how it all began in 2021. Sandy Hunt from Australia was holidaying in Bali. The street dog's that came across my path gave me such a feeling of sadness and helplessness. I fed and gave fresh water to many but I felt there was more I can do to help even after I left the island.
I befriended a local man Erix Borang that soon became my eyes on the streets after I flew back home to Australia. We had decided that we were going to do what we could to assist those in need of vet care and a stable home where they could finally feel safe but also heal from the trauma they experienced on the streets. Within days after joining FB groups it was apparent that the amount of dog's needing help was just so overwhelming we were receiving messages and calls for help from people also overwhelmed with case's asking myself and erix to take on urgent case's. In March of 2023 the sudden death of my friend Erix, care giver to our dogs had passed away from heart failure. Trying to process the sad news of loosing my friend was a challenge in its self. Not knowing what I was going to do as we had all these beautiful dog's that still needed us, Erix had hired someone called ADI to help care for the dog's including general duties of maintaining a clean environment for the pack. ADI was a local Street feeder for strays, Erix happened to met ADI and offered him a job at our rescue. ADI has been caring for our dogs since. The amount of love all the dog's have for ADI is just out of this world, he is just amazing. So now it's ADI and me at Bali Dogs Fight to Survive rescue.🙏🙏🐾🐾

Welcome to Bali Dogs Fight to Survive
At Bali Dogs Fight to Survive, we are a small rescue/sanctuary, dedicated to rescuing and providing a better life for the dogs of Bali. Every animal deserves love and compassion. We are here to make sure we do our very best to remove those unwanted dog's/puppies from the danger's on the streets of Bali. Help the abandoned, heal the traumatized and do everything we can to save them from disease's like parvovirus and distemper vaccinating for rabies, theses disease's are so deadly. As many people know it is hell on earth for animals in Bali Indonesia. Please find it in your hearts to help us give the dog's in Bali a fighting chance of a better life.

Rescue and Rehabilitation
Rescue and rehabilitating dogs in need. Give them a second chance at life. To give them the feeling of what it's like to be loved. To show them that there is such a thing called kindness. We strive to build their trust in humans again and build their confidence. We always work at the speed our dogs are comfortable with as many of them shut down in an unfamiliar environment when they first arrive so the decompression stage is handled with care and patience where we can make them feel safe.
Adoption Services
Matching rescued dogs with loving families for forever homes. We have strict policies on place for our adoption process to ensure that our dogs are adopted into the best home's.
Non negotiable rules
A 3 week trial period to ensure the chosen dog is the perfect fit for the family
Must have an enclosured yard with space never free to roam outside the property.
Absolutely no chain or cage to restrict the dog from moving freely throughout the yard.
Family Must be prepared to allow the adopted 4 legged family member to enter the house to be with his/her family and not locked outside.
Our dogs will only be adopted to people/families that are home on a daily basis except working hr's.
If at any stage for unfortunate circumstances you can no longer provide care for the dog, the dog is to be returned to us at Bali dogs fight to survive. You will not sell, rehome or abandon the dog.
An inspection of the potential home prior to adoption will be conducted to ensure the environment is suitable for one of our dogs.
Arranged times for a staff member to visit ensure that the ongoing agreement is adhered by for the welfare of the dog.
Live videos will be requested regularly.
Medical Care
Providing essential medical care to keep our dogs healthy and happy is always or priority. We always use reprabale vet's with extensive knowledge. We have a great working relationship with our medical professionals.

Yes our dogs receive the full amount of the donations, we don't have any hidden costs your donation will provide assistance for food, medical, if there is a need to purchase something imparticual for the upkeep of the rescue such as fencing, roofing materials for kennels, your donation or part there of could possibly be used to help purchase.
